Greg Shapiro - "Going Dutch!"

Shapiro came to Amsterdam in 1994 and never managed to get back to Chicago. Since joining Comedy Theater Boom Chicago, his voice and face have appeared Dutch commercials (Chevrolet, Holland Casino), television (GTST, ONM) and films (Phileine Zegt Sorry, Radeloos). He is now back in Chicago for a special for the Dutch Club.

Shapiro’s cabaret career includes 2-man shows such as ‘Bye-Bye Bush’ & ‘Yankee Go Home,’ with Jon Rosenfeld. As a Solo Act, Shapiro performed the story of his Dutch passport (‘Greg Shapiro’s Going Dutch’) in Amsterdam and in Chicago for the Dutch Consulate at Second City Theater.
His writing has appeared in XM Magazine, Expats Magazine, Sum, The Amsterdam Times, The Scotsman, Sp!ts, and TimeOutAmsterdam.
