NL- DAMESDe NL-Dames groep is een internet groep gevormd op internet in 2005 bij een aantal Nederlandse dames. Ze wilden elkaar graag wat beter leren kennen. Inmiddels word er, altijd onder het genot van een een maaltijd, de ervaringen van het leven in Chicago met elkaar gedeeld. Iedereen in de groep kan een etentje organiseren en bepalen in welk restaurant gegeten gaat worden. Naast de etentjes wordt er ook regelmatig andere activiteiten georganiseerd, zoals bijvoorbeeld een bioscoop bezoek. De groep is open voor dames met een Nederlandse achtergrond woonachtig in of bezig met de verhuizing naar Chicago en omstreken. Om je aan te melden en te zien welke activiteiten gepland worden.
