About the event

*Update*

We have changed the location of the viewing party to the Globe Pub on Irving Road and are also unable to serve a Dutch breakfast that morning. We apologize for the inconvenience.  McGees decided to not open for the match Tuesday morning.

The globe pub is open and the last matches there were some Dutch people watching the game There.  We recommend to be there early at 8.15-8.30. The pub has an age limit of 21+ (Sorry, we were unaware of this and will look for somewhere else for the next matches)

Fortunately, The Globe pub offers an amazing breakfast menu and a delicious new frozen Jameson coffee they highly recommend!!

We would be delighted for you to join us, cheer on the team, and drink a coffee or Heineken. There are no reservations, and the pub expects it to be crowded, so please be on time.

We are looking forward to see you there!

ABOUT US >

The Dutch Club of Chicago has been around since 1958. On these pages you will find information about the history of the Club, board members and an overview of activities.

Local cooperation

The Club strives to serve the Dutch community as well as those with interests in The Netherlands.  To that end, we work closely with the Consulate General of The Netherlands in Chicago, the Tul(i)p School, Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) as well as the Dutch-American Chamber of Commerce.

We also work closely together with the local European clubs, like the Belgians (BACC)and German (DANK) clubs, for instance by sharing events.

Events

We plan and organize events such as Kingsday, Sinterklaas, monthly "borrels": informal get togethers with haring, bitterballen, sate, snert and stamppot, and also assist in the promotion of cultural events such as concerts.
